NWASAP Equity and Inclusion Statement

NWASAP is committed to the active inclusion and involvement of all interested members in its programs, involvement, and leadership in the region. NWASAP strives to continually increase access and engagement in its efforts. As an association, NWASAP is committed to responsible citizenship and demonstrating a value of equity and inclusivity in our programs and practice.

NWASAP actively promotes and recognizes principles of fairness, equity, and social justice in relation to and across intersections of race, age, color, disability, faith, religion, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, social class, economic class, ethnicity, gender identity, gender expression, and all other identities represented among our diverse membership. NWASAP aims to demonstrate that association members understand the value of diversity, the integrity of equity, and the benefit of inclusive practice through contributing to productive responses to challenges faced by higher education and  valuing the knowledge and perspectives that people from diverse backgrounds and affiliations.
