How to navigate your conference experience as an introvert

Conferences serve as opportunities for professionals to network with colleagues, immerse themselves in learning environment, present knowledge, and reinvigorate themselves. However, being an introvert at conferences can be a challenge. Typically, we see many of those who identify themselves as extroverts successfully navigate their conference experiences. However, as a self-proclaimed introvert, who has attended conferences big and small, It can be done. This webinar will provide strategies to help you make the most of your conference experience as an introvert whether the conference is big or small.

About the Presenter: Chris Potts serves as the Director of Enrollment Management and Alumni Affairs at Oregon College of Art and Craft.  He has been in the field of Student Affairs for over decade serving graduate assistant and professional and has worked in the areas of Residence Life and Housing, Student Conduct, Student Life.  Currently, he is a doctoral candidate at Oregon State University studying Adult and Higher Education. He is passionate about equity and inclusion, health and wellness, and an avid dog-lover.   He spends his free time with his spouse and two dogs enjoying all the variety Portland has to offer, swinging bells at the neighborhood kettle bell gym, and writing his dissertation.
